CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
Art Spin’s Holding Patterns Exhibition, October 2018
Art Spin is currently seeking volunteers who are passionate about the arts and enjoy interacting with the public in unusual spaces. We are presenting a new site specific project, Holding Patterns, from October 11th to 21st, which will transform 20 storage lockers in the Junction Triangle Neighbourhood, and are looking to build our team to make it happen.
Art Spin is a not-for-profit arts presenter activating decommissioned venues and unique public spaces to produce large scale group exhibitions along with curated bicycle-led art tours to showcase a wide range of newly commissioned art programming in unique site-specific settings with the goal of making our audience’s experiences with art more engaging and exciting. Art Spin was also the lead presenter of in/future, an art and music festival held at Ontario Place in 2016.
Are you interested in working with curators and visual artists, building your network of cultural contacts, discovering new Toronto spaces and having a great time while you do it?
By volunteering for Art Spin you will be supporting the arts, gaining hands-on experience in supporting a live events, assist with way-finding and information distribution and meeting amazing people. You will be provided with training, a special curator’s tour of the exhibition, lights snacks, Record of Hours Letter (upon request), an Art Spin t-shirt, and a volunteer appreciation event. Without you these events would not be possible.
