We started this tour off in Trinity Bellwoods Park where Hayley Imerman and Angel Chen invited participants to plant a flower for their public installation My Street Has No Trees sponsored by Blacksmith Cycle. Dodo Lab installed their flags and buttons proposing a new Canadian icon while we gathered getting ready to hit the road.

From the park we headed off, led by Michael Louis Johnson our trumpeting cyclist and emcee, to arrive at MOCCA. At MOCCA we saw the exhibition This is Paradise, a show that focused on the history of the Queen West art scene in the 1980's. Thanks to Brett Despovitch for speaking with the group about the show.

This was followed by a dance performance Joy Experiment #3 by Cathy Gordon and Hub 14. Then it was off to the Factory Theatre for a showcase of video works by Nicholas Kovats, Evan Tyler and Carolyn Tripp selected from the Parkdale Film and Video ShowcaseThe tour then moved into Alexandra Park for a performance by Miko Sobreira and Manuel Rodriguez Saenz.

The fifth stop took the tour group into Kensington market where we rode up the ramp of the Kensington parking garage to find the Lemonbucket Orkestra. They played a lively set atop the building with the city sky behind them.

We then ended the tour at a preview of the RRRRR Trash Art Festival in the garagebehind El Gordo's. The event featured an installation by the Brazilian Collective Urban Trash Renewal in partnership with Whippersnapper Galleryas well as Hidden Shrines garbage sculptures by artists Felix Kalmenson and Sasha FosterThe night was a lively one with an amazing performance by afro-colombian band Sexteto Tabala.

Thanks to the Ontario Arts Council and Blacksmith Cycle for their support on this tour. Thanks to Alfonzo from El Gordo's for graciously hosting us and to the Community Bicycle Network for their help, and to our volunteers Will and Leah.
